In the newest story trailer for Gears 5, we get a closer look at Kait’s conflict with her blood-ties to the Swarm, as well as ties with her friends and family. In the beginning parts of the trailer we walk through Kait’s mind as she experiences vivid, dark visions featuring a Swarm hive, blood pool, and absolutely massive Berserker. As the trailer moves forward, we get peeks at new enemies and areas that we will encounter in the game. We also get to see a familiar face. Think you can pick out who it is? Gears 5 is slated for a September 10th release date, but you can get it four days earlier by purchasing the Ultimate Edition, or subscribing to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
