If you’ve found yourself uncertain of how to progress through Hollow Knight: Silksong because you can’t seem to cross the irritating magma rocks in Deep Docks, we’ve got it all figured out for you. You’re just going to need to save up some rosaries because fire resistance ain’t going to come cheap.
How to walk on magma rocks in Hollow Knight: Silksong
To cross magma rocks in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’re going to need an item known as the Magma Bell. This crest can only be purchased from a specific NPC named Forge-Daughter.
You can find the Forge-Daughter in a room to the right of the central bench in Deep Docks. She sells a variety of items, but you just need the one that’s going to let you keep your feet cool. Even so, it’s going to cost you a whopping 110 rosaries.
If you need more rosaries, carve a path through Deep Docks and kill enemies until you’ve obtained enough, then return to Forge-Daughter and purchase the Magma Bell.
Sit on any bench and equip the Magma Bell. Now, when walking across magma rocks in this area, you won’t take damage right away. Make sure you still don’t stand on the rocks too long, though, as this protection is temporary. As long as you keep jumping periodically to give your feet a break from the heat, you’ll be fine.
Soon after obtaining the Magma Bell, you’ll need to face off against one of the game’s many challenging bosses. Take a look at how to beat Lace in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
