With a week until Hood: Outlaws & Legends releases, what better time to talk about its latest gameplay trailer and Year 1 roadmap? The latest gameplay trailer offers commentation that gives examples of the game’s mechanics as well as some great insight on the characters and the roles they play. Each one is tuned to fit specific jobs for the heist and the gameplay trailer here does a great job of showing us just what we’ll need to learn once we get into one of the game’s heists. I really love the teamwork that goes into each heist and it’ll be interesting to see just how players come together in order to carry out their mission.
Focus Home Entertainment is also excited to show players their Year 1 roadmap for the game which includes tons of free content for every player. The first year will be split into four seasons, each of which is themed and will include major gameplay additions such as community events, cosmetics, maps, and more. The first map, Mountain, will be hitting the game shortly after launch as part of season 1. This season will also bring a new game mode to shake up players’ comfortability. Lastly, Eidaa, a new Outlaw will be added to the game as well (more news to come). Hood has been one of my most anticipated games of the year and it’s shaping up to be an awesome release.
