Capcom’s latest action-adventure game is finally out after six years of waiting. Pragmata is a work of art that will keep you engaged as soon as you put on your astronaut suit. And, thanks to a compelling world, you might end up staying on the Moon longer than you might expect.
So, if you’re thinking about joining Hugh and Diana in their adventure to save the world, and if you’re wondering exactly how long that will take, keep on reading. Spoiler alert: it depends on whether you’re obsessed with completion and killer robots.
How long does it take to beat Pragmata?
With the premise that you’ll be playing the game on Standard difficulty, Pragmata will take you around 10 to 12 hours to beat if you choose to stick to the main story. If you’re struggling with the game’s difficulty, dialing down the game to Casual could lower your in-game timer even more.
If you want to get 100% completion in your first Standard run, you will probably end up playing for 15 to 20 hours. This includes finding every collectible in each of the Moon levels (including Read Earth Memories, Cabin Coins, Chests, Mods, and Red Zones, etc.), completing the Training Simulations, leveling up every single weapon, hacking node, ability, and attachment in the Unit Printer, maxing all Firmware Updates, and beating the post-game Unknown Signal challenges.
Completing your first run in Pragmata then unlocks Lunatic difficulty, which ups the ante in the merciless robot department and adds new functions to your weapons. If you truly want to complete the game and get every single achievement with a second Pragmata run, you’ll probably see yourself investing 30+ hours. If you’re a hardcore hacker and shooter, though, it could be a bit quicker.
Pragmata is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
