How does Gundam Rogue Orbit gameplay work?
Gundam Rogue Orbit is an action-adventure game where players control powerful mechas. In what is described as fast-paced, high-mobility melee combat, the player’s Mobile Suit will face an increasing number of threats in crowded battlefields and intense boss battles.
Weapon selection and ground and aerial attack prowess will reward skillful players who not only are able to bring their Mobile Suits to their absolute limits, but can also equip them with Apocalypse Units (AP-U) and other parts to fit their playstyles via the Development Device. These include weapons, frames, thrusters, and even customizable color schemes.
What is the plot and setting of Gundam Rogue Orbit?
Players take the role of RE-X (Rex), an ace pilot who is found after aimlessly floating in space for three years. After being rescued, it is discovered that Rex is not a regular human being, but rather an individual created for a single purpose: to control the powerful Gundam Helix. He will join a team that will strive to keep the Solar System alive by battling a mysterious force of mechanical beasts called the Apocalypse.
