Like most Metroidvanias, Well Dweller contains a wealth of extra items and upgrades to find scattered throughout its maze-like world, including (but not limited to) boon-granting trinkets, collectable story pages, and bird spirits that can be turned in for rewards at a certain spot on the map.
Investing in all of this optional content can be rewarding, as some of the best trinkets are hidden away in certain corners of the map, while obtaining as many upgrade tokens as possible will let you level up said trinkets to grant improved boons.
