In any Metroidvania, you’ll be running around the map trying to explore areas that you weren’t able to previously after unlocking a new ability. It works the same in Well Dweller, but sometimes the distance between camps can be excruciatingly long. Luckily, you can unlock fast travel pretty early on, so here’s how to travel between camps in Well Dweller.
How to fast travel in Well Dweller
You can unlock fast travel in Well Dweller after beating the second boss and reaching the top left of the well entrance. In this game, it’s called Tent Travel, and you can collect this ability for free by reaching this point on your map.
To do so, you’ll first need to beat the Swarm boss. You’ll find this boss southeast of the queen’s castle entrance that’s currently locked. Head to the right after beating the boss, then jump into the bird’s nest to unlock the ability to wall climb.
Climb up the wall to your right after unlocking that ability, then make it through the small group of enemies until you find a north exit. You’ll eventually make it back to the Night Garden through a once inaccessible area. So climb up the steep ledge to your right, and you should see the Tent Travel ability.
There’s no need to be at a tent to fast travel; you can simply travel to any tent on your map no matter where you are. Fast travel also doesn’t cost anything.
