Arc Raiders is a game that demands a lot of players, pushing each raider to make the most of everything at their disposal if they wish to survive topside against all odds. One of the ways you can improve your character’s chances of survival is by investing in the skill tree, which provides you with a host of useful perks, ranging from simple passive buffs to entirely new in-game abilities. But what if you make a mistake, or simply want to try a new build? Well, that’s where respeccing comes in.
As of December 2025’s Cold Snap update, you can now spend in-game coins to reset your skill tree, giving you an opportunity to completely rework your character’s build. Read on for how to respec in Arc Raiders and just how many coins it’s going to cost you.
How to respec in Arc Raiders
To respec in Arc Raiders, you’ll need to first navigate to Raider > Skill Tree. Within the skill tree page, note a button at the bottom that says “Reset Skill Tree”. Click this to begin the respec.
However, keep in mind that each respec is going to cost you a pretty penny. As a matter of fact, it costs 2,000 coins per point you’ve currently invested in your skill tree. If you’re level 75, this adds up to a whopping 152,000 coins and refunds you a total of 76 points.
Once you’ve refunded your skill points, you’re free to reallocate them however you please. Just try to place them in a way that you’re fairly certain you won’t need to change them again, as the cost for swapping them around too often can add up quickly.
