Indie developer Alessandro Guzzo, who created the well-reviewed horror game The Land of Pain, is back with a new game within the same universe. Eerily titled The Alien Cube, players are going to be thrown back into the cosmic horror that his stories are built on. This new horror game has officially been released today on PC via Steam and Epic Games, giving fans of indie horror games something new in the midst of Halloween season.
Players take on the role of Arthur, a lonely man whose life is about to change drastically when strange events start to occur after finding out about the disappearance of his uncle, Edgar. The world he lives in is intertwined with a terrible secret, dark and occult reality in which his uncle seemed to have played an important role. Tormented by nightmarish visions, he will need to embark on a journey to seek out the truth and survive the darkness that is haunting him.
Prepare to explore horrifying places and survive hostile weather if you plan to try and make your way through Arthur’s journey. The Alien Cube is a direct continuation of The Land of Pain, so if you want to follow in chronological order, be sure to check that game out as well. Are you ready to uncover the secrets that are lurking behind the façade?
