An upcoming update for the popular fighting game, Injustice 2, will feature the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Fighter Pack 3. The pack will also include two DC Universe heroes, Atom and the Enchantress. Although a release date for Fighter Pack 3 is yet to be announced, the hero Atom will be available in early access on Dec 12.
The introduction of the Ninja Turtles, together with Atom and Enchantress will increase the current roster of Injustice 2 to 41 characters. NetherRealm, the developer of the game has already released Fighter Packs 1 & 2 that introduced Red Hood, Sub Zero, Starfire for the first pack, and Black Manta, Hellboy, and Raiden for the second pack.
This cross over isn’t the first time that Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo have entered the DC Universe. The Ninja Turtles also appeared on the 2015 six-issue mini-series titled, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. An announcement was already been made by DC, Nickelodeon and IDW Publishing concerning the sequel to the comic series earlier this year.
