Who doesn’t love over the top anime games? Many people in reality, but those who do love anime, Kill la Kill the Game: IF is shaping up to be quite the bundle of anime love. This is a game very specific for its audience. After spending some quality time in the demo’s story mission and local multiplayer, I’d for sure say this game has no desire to reach out to a vast, diverse community of gamers.
In all honesty, this is a great thing for the game in just about every way. Making a game for the people that like Kill la Kill’s insane combat, overly dramatic story and excessive “lewd-ness” will probably get a lot out of this game. The combat is a lot of fun and leaves a lot of room to have exciting battle while mashing buttons or time perfect combos and dodges at a master level. I’m excited to get my hands of this game and see what else is in store as more characters are unlocked and a deeper story is flushed out.
Kill la Kill the Game: IF will be released on July 26, 2019 on PS4, Nintendo Switch and on the 25th for Steam.
