After nearly eight years since the release of Tripwire Interactive’s Killing Floor 2, the next installment in the wave-based monster-slaying franchise, Killing Floor 3 is on the horizon! Whilst the team hasn’t been too hushed lately about the third game’s release, players were finally treated to the new title’s first gameplay trailer as part of this year’s PC Gaming Show.
The trailer highlights many of the things that veteran players love about the series, such as its gruesome combat and grotesque enemies, with a new big bad being revealed at the end of the trailer. Aside from hostile monsters and mutants, Killing Floor 3 will also introduce a new host of different game mechanics to enhance moment to moment action overall, as well as some updated visuals to push the series forward.
Killing Floor 3 does not have solid release date yet but is slated to release in early 2025.
