For the last two years since the Game Boy Advance collection was added to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, only first-party GBA games were available on the platform. Now it’s getting some third-party GBA games, starting with Klonoa: Empire of Dreams and Mr. Driller 2.
Nintendo shared a video update Wednesday evening, giving fans a preview of the two classic titles that are coming to the Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Classics catalog. Take a look at the trailer below!
Klonoa: Empire of Dreams follows the titular cabbit — a mix of a cat and rabbit — sent by the insomniac king of a distant empire to take down four monsters running rampant around the world as punishment for breaking the anti-dreaming law by dreaming of adventure. Mr. Driller 2 finds Susumu and Anna drilling through multicolored blocks to fight a mysterious outbreak of Blocks that are threatening life as they know it.
Both games will be available on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on September 25. Which one of these nostalgic games will you play as soon as they drop?
