Life Is Strange Gets TV Adaptation for Prime Video

Film and TV adaptations of the greatest video game franchises keep on coming. Amazon has greenlit the live-action TV show for Life Is Strange on Prime Video.

Per a report from Variety, the series will be based on the first Life Is Strange title, following the game’s protagonist Max, a photography student who discovers she has the power to rewind time, and reunites with her childhood best friend, Chloe Price, to solve the mystery behind the disappearance of one of her classmates. The show will be written and executive produced by Kaos creator and writer of The End of the F**ing World Charlie Covell. Amazon MGM Studios will produce the series alongside LuckyChap, Square Enix, and Story Kitchen.

“It’s a huge honor to be adapting Life Is Strange for Amazon MGM Studios,” Covell said. “I am a massive fan of the game, and I’m thrilled to be working with the incredible teams at Square Enix, Story Kitchen and LuckyChap. I can’t wait to share Max and Chloe’s story with fellow players and new audiences alike.”

No casting details have been revealed yet as the Life Is Strange show just got the green light from Amazon. However, that doesn’t stop us from coming up with a list of people we hope will get the roles. Maybe Raegan Revord of Young Sheldon fame should play Max Caufield? Or Chloe Price?
