Naraka: Bladepoint, a battle royale game inspired by East Asian culture, releases its long-awaited season eight expansion titled Season 8: Reckoning, bringing a plethora of new content for players to enjoy! Developers 24 Entertainment have been hard at work to spice up the game, and in partnership with publisher NetEase Games Montreal, their hard work is officially here!

The season adds a new darker story that builds on the game's lore. Annica, a sinister villain, watches over the darkness that stalks the lands of Holoroth and Morus Isle. The player experiences this conflict from the eyes of a new mysterious assassin hero named Akos Hu for players to use in the game.

Season 8: Reckoning also brings a new treasure scroll, appearing with added skins, outfits, accessories, and more! Some examples are the Windchaser Bow skin, a Royal Blossom hairstyle for the Ziping Yin hero, and a Han Dynasty background for the hero Akos Hu.

The PvE-focused showdown mode receives a new chapter as well. Omnius Palladium is an armored behemoth besieging Celestra and can absorb his own soldiers to grow in mass and crush anyone who stands in his way. Players will have to use their in-game skills to defeat this towering goliath in this first-ever weeklong showdown event which lasts from April 27th to May 7th.

Naraka: Bladepoint teams up with Vegetable Fairies to introduce content into Season 8: Reckoning, including Cabbage Dog! For a limited time, players get to interact with cabbage dogs and gain Vegetable Fairy-themed items like the Nappa Cabbage pole sword skin, the Cabbage head accessory, the Bubble Cabbage Dog laugh emote, and more until May 24th.
