For those that enjoyed I am Setsuna, here is another delicious treat. Square Enix has announced the release of the next Japanese Role-Playing Game, or JRPG, called Lost Sphear. It is slated for release in 2018 on the PS4, Steam and Switch. According to the Lost Sphear website, this will be the first western physical release of a game by Tokyo RPG Factory and will include these features:
- Unique and powerful unforgettable storyline with seamless gameplay;
- Enhances battle system with new ATB 2.0, which offers more freedom in combat;
- Machine equipment and enhanced abilities.
For those who pre-order exclusively from the Square Enix Store, there will be two special soundtracks by composer Tomoki Miyoshi made available. Here's a write-up of the storyline by Square Enix as well as a trailer of what can be expected from this upcoming JRPG.
