The Playstation 3 officially ends production today, officially shutting the door on another era in gaming. The only model that was still in production was the 500GB slide top, which was released very late into the console's lifecycle. The console dies just after 10 years since it's launch, which is much shorter than the PS2, which only ended production 4 years ago.
