Just when we thought that Madmind Studio was moving on from Agony UNRATED to work on their upcoming games Succubus and Paranoid, it seems they have some more surprises in store. While we have gotten to know more about the main character of Succubus, Vydija, we now get to see a whole new enemy. Say hello to the Cherub!
In the Cherub trailer, you can see this creature up close, from all sides, and in flight. This little guy was already added to Agony UNRATED for players to encounter throughout their terrifying journey through hell, but in Succubus we can expect him to be more of an opponent rather than a true threat. The best part is, this update comes with the quote, “We would like to point out that we do not rule out enriching the content of our already released games with further free updates.”
If you don’t know anything about the Cherub, they are a type of demon that is born of sin. The deformed body often moves in contradictory logic, giving the impression that each of the two demons joined together lives according to their own rules. They typically attack their victims by outnumbering them, circling the victim and setting them on fire with long-range fireballs.
There should be, players will be able to watch and test the first gameplay of Succubus, but there is still so much to learn about what this game will hold. Are you looking forward to taking an offensive stroll through hell rather than a defensive one?
