PlayStation brought their A-game to today’s State of Play presentation that included around 30 minutes of game reveals and new trailers for expected titles. One of the biggest announcements was the reveal that Guerrilla Games has shadow-dropped a massive Horizon Forbidden West update that will bring a plethora of fan-requested features to the game, including New Game+, transmog, and skill point respeccing.

The update also includes improvements to the visual fidelity for the game’s performance mode, a new Ultra Hard difficulty setting, and new weapons and trophies connected to New Game+. Players who have already beaten Horizon Forbidden West’s main campaign can begin their New Game+ journey immediately.

Horizon Forbidden West follows Aloy on a new journey out West to discover the source of a deadly plague and once again stop an existential threat from destroying her home. Along the way, Aloy will discover more of the world that came before and face even more menacing machines than she ever thought possible.

The Horizon Forbidden West major update is available now for all owners of the game on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
