MERGE GAMES Announces Three Upcoming Titles In E3 Style Fashion

With the lack of E3 taking place this year, many developers have taken to just announcing their new trailers lately as they would have during the event. With three new upcoming games reveal trailers ready to go, Merge Games didn’t want to miss the proper timing to announce these titles either. While there are only three titles being announced, they have something for gamers of all different interests.

Teaming up with developers Jankenteam, Merge Games is announcing the return of a classic Sega title: Alex Kidd! They are launching the game again under the expanded title, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX. This version of the game will have a better art style, improved boss fights, different modes, and extra levels to bring expanded lore to the original title to bring a fresh dimension to the original game. The platforms it’s planned to launch on are Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam sometime in 2021.

Then we have a darker, action-shooter title FORECLOSED. Working with developers Antab Studio, these teams are bringing a cyberpunk world to players with a fresh story. Styled in art and gameplay to be relatable to a comic book, this action-focused game will have players fighting for not just their life, but to clear their name as well. This game is planned to launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam sometime mid-2021.

Finally, we have the top-down, souls-like action game Morbid: The Seven Acolytes. Developers Still Running have designed this game to incorporate ARPG elements in the midst of a horrorpunk world full of merciless enemies to be taken down. This Lovecraftian and Cronenbergian inspired title is planned to launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam sometime this year.
