Mortal Shell 2 features a variety of opportunities to score some high-end loot, including by way of chests locked by offerings. When you encounter a chest that requires you to unlock it with offerings, you’ll need to find and light three candles in the vicinity. If you’ve stumbled upon the locked chest in the Glutted Mire, we’ll fill you in on the offering locations below.

All offering locations for the Sunken Village chest

There are three offerings (candles) you need to find and interact with to unlock the chest in the Glutted Mire. The locations for each of them are below.

Offering 1

The first offering can be found not too far away from the chest, just up the stairs in front of a home.

Offering 2

You’ll find the second offering can be found in a broken pillar in the summoning area nearby where two poison mage enemies await to fight you.

Offering 3

The third and final offering is located inside the cage just to the left of the last offering. Simply hit the chain to open the cage, then slay the enemy inside before lighting the offering.

With the offerings lit, you can return to the chest and open it for your reward. Inside, you’ll find the Siegebreaker’s Stone, which grants substantial stagger damage to your ranged attacks. This makes it an excellent choice for hard-hitting sidearms like the Salvaged Trebuchaxe.
