Mortal Shell 2 has a large variety of weapons to try, so it’s a good idea to find all of them to see what works best for your build. If you’re after a large axe that can dish out big damage, look no further than the Veteran’s Battle Axe. Below, we’ll tell you where to find this hulking axe so that you can get to swinging it wildly.
Where to find the Veteran’s Battle Axe in Mortal Shell 2
To find the Veteran’s Battle Axe, you’ll need to enter the King’s Crypt dungeon, which is north of the Blackridge Pass beacon. You can see the exact spot of this dungeon on the map above.
Enter the dungeon and begin making your way through, but be very mindful in here, as it’s absolutely overflowing with deadly traps. It’d be easy to make a false move and wind up dead if you’re not being very mindful.
At the end of the dungeon, you’ll come to a square hole that looks like it’d kill you if you fell down it, but it’s actually exactly where you need to go. Drop inside and kill the enemy below, then spot the Veteran’s Battle Axe resting on a deceased soldier nearby. Pick it up, then exit the dungeon.
The Veteran’s Battle Axe is a hard-hitting weapon that is great for crowd control and dealing big damage at slow speeds. It’s ideal for tanky builds, but it may suffer slightly with shells that are designed to be more agile. But your builds can be customized however you like, so don’t let anything stop you from trying it out!
