Anime fans rejoice!
With returning producers and animators from Project 51 Productions and Powerhouse Animation, Netflix is airing a new Castlevania series this month. Castlevania: Nocturne, will follow the never before seen origin story of the beloved character Richter Belmont.
Not being a huge anime fan myself I did watch the original Castlevania series on Netflix because I get nostalgic for the games from time to time and thought I would experience the story more through the show. I found myself hooked fairly quickly. It comes with a fair amount of gore, romance, action, and a little bit of horror. With some stunning visuals that I did not expect from an anime I found myself finishing the series and was pleased with it.
Now what can I expect from Castlevania: Nocturne? More! Vampire Hunters, the French Revolution, gaming history, and Richter Belmont! I expect more. More Blood, more Action, more horror! (More Romance too if you’re into that).
Castlevania: Nocture debuts on Netflix on September 28th.
