Speechless, I’m speechless.
Hot Ones has been known for putting all kinds of celebrities from movie stars, to musicians, and even athletes, through pain by feeding them wings of progressing heat. What I never thought I would see was a video game creator, and here I stand, stunned yet again by the crew behind Mortal Kombat 1.
Everytime I see the words Mortal Kombat right now I know that I won’t be let down, but every time I’m even more impressed than the last time. All I know is when this is all said and done, that marketing team needs a raise, a big one too.
Ed Boon, took on the hots ones gauntlet, while it was a mini-gauntlet it still got the job done putting Boon through the wringer. Some things that we learned or already knew, Boon is just a super nice guy. We get to see some little behind the scenes where Boon talks about how Mortal Kombat started with a crew of just 4 people with a new crew making up of a 100 plus!
Boon talks about his inspirations for the game, and the entire time I’m reminded why I couldn’t be happier that it was him behind these games. Boon takes all of his inspiration stuck in the 80s era of action movies. Who’s stronger than who? I don’t know let’s find out! Boon clearly loves video games and he very obviously is the biggest Mortal Kombat fan out there.
Thank you for the work being put into Mortal Kombat 1 I can’t wait to see the finished product.
