Something that the folks over at Spooky Doorway and Akupara Games are providing for their players and Darkside Detective fan base is free content. Following the successful release of The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark, which is the second in the series, they have started working on releasing three brand new, free-to-play DLC cases for their players. While the first DLC was released during the holidays, the second is now here!
This new case is called “One Flew Into The Cuckoo’s Nest.” Starting the year strong with five Aggie awards right out of the gate, we’re reunited with our investigator duo to crack the egg in this eggciting new case. This time, our intrepid detectives find a note saying they should head to the Twin Lakes Botanical Gardens. What could possibly be in store?
Along with this free DLC release, they have announced the crowdfunding campaign for the fan-requested plushie of Nigel, the Loch Ness Monster. Here’s your chance to help produce a limited, one-time run plushie which will come with a free copy of the game. Don’t miss your chance if this is a little guy you want in your collection!
