Just in time for the holidays, Spooky Doorway and Akupara Games have released the first of three bonus cases coming to their latest game The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark. Not only is this case now available, but it is a completely free DLC add-on for the players! Rejoin Detective Francis McQueen and Officer Patrick Dooley to solve a unique holiday mystery.
While the trailer above leaves us wondering what this new case will have waiting in the dark, the title alone, “Ghosts of Christmas Past,” gives off an idea of a familiar tale that might be a clue to what lies ahead. But after playing through this point-and-click puzzle game, I have learned that you never truly know with these developers. I do like how they managed to put suspense into this new case with only a thirty-second trailer though.
The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark is a positively reviewed game that is showing plans to keep the comedically entertaining adventure going.
