PAGUI打鬼 is very obviously a game from a different part of the world. It revolves around a true story from the history of Taiwan and has been combined with aspects of local mythology like spirits, ghouls, and ghosts. The story centers around an orphan who was taken in by a temple. Upon learning parts of his past, he set out on a "fantastic journey" to find his relatives. He grew from hiding from ghosts to fighting ghouls. During his journey, he uncovered a ghost town's past and shocking truths.
