Working as a team to bring the Ghibli style to life, Level-5 and Studio Ghibli themselves worked to make every backdrop, battle and conversation feel just like the wondrous anime movies of Studio Ghibli. The game play brings to life various RPG games which involve strategic mastery and monster collecting. With massive lands to explore, many enemies to battle and it looking sharp as ever, this game set a solid standard for JRPGs years ago, and it should stand up just as well today. Every time I see this game in action, I can’t wait to play through the amazing story in a gorgeous remastered version.
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered will be released on September 20th for $49.99. Picking up this treasure trove of amazing storytelling with a healthy, smart battle system is almost a no brainer for those who loved it originally or those who enjoy animes or RPGs.
