Revealing the news through a Twitter post, Sony PlayStation has officially announced the release date for the PlayStation VR2 (PSVR2)! The PSVR2 will launch on February 22, 2023, for $549.99 USD and they are opening pre-orders on November 15th. Plus, the PSVR2 Sense controller charging station, designed specifically for the PSVR2 Sense controller, will also launch the same day.
There will be a few options at launch for those looking to pre-order. If you get the standard PlayStation VR2 bundle, it will include PSVR2 headset, PSVR2 Sense controllers, and stereo headphones. Then there is the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle which simply includes a voucher for the game. For those that want to get the PSVR2 Sense controller charging station, that is available for pre-order as well for $49.99 USD.
