One Piece Odyssey, the upcoming JRPG from Bandai Namco, will be released tomorrow on Jan 13. To build some hype they have released a demo! Featuring the first 2 hours of Odyssey, the demo details the arrival of the Straw Hats to the mysterious island of Waford.
A video announcement from the game’s producer, Katsuaki Tsuzuki, thanked players for their support and excitement while also detailing some of the features of the demo. While not revealing everything or introducing all features of the game such as the memory worlds of Alabasta and Water Seven, the demo includes some combat, exploration, and the first few steps of the campaign. Any progression from the demo will be transferable to the full game once available, and in-game currency will be given as a thank-you for playing.
