As much as I love to see intricate Easter Eggs and tricks developers use to pull off the moments throughout their games, it seems that the developers behind Streets of Rage 4 are a bunch of minimalists. Truly one of the most simplistic out of bounds exploration videos I have seen yet, you can see that they put tons of care into the bits needed to pull off this amazing installment in the series but nothing extra.
While this may seem like a bit of a let down, it just shows that sometimes simplicity in a game’s design is all that it needs. Still though, if you are interested in the way games are developed and put together, you will want to give the latest episode from YouTuber Slippy Slides a watch. Not much was hidden, but seeing how they pulled off the various scenes, such as the airplane taking off and the rails that come at you on the train tops, is interesting.
