Starbreeze and Deep Silver are preparing future heisters with a sneak peek at the title before launch with the recently announced closed beta of PAYDAY 3. The studio is accepting applicants to sign up either on the PC Steam page or through Xbox Insider for Xbox Series X|S players. Unfortunately, there has been no word on a PlayStation 5 beta. Players have to hurry because space is limited!
The closed beta will run from August 2 - August 7th and will feature the game’s 4 original clown-masked criminals. Players will have the chance to play on the map No Rest for the Wicked which has been said to be a throwback to classic Payday style heists by having players rob a small bank. Although there will be level caps and progressional caps, the game will allow players to try all available difficulties during the beta.
You can sign up for the Steam beta here and if you are on Xbox, you will have to download the Xbox Insider app in order to join the list. However, it does seem like the list is full at the moment. But don’t worry! Xbox did mention that they will allow more players to join the beta over the weekend so make sure to check back on the Xbox Insider app if you are unable to get in at this time.
PAYDAY 3 launches on September 21st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and EGS.
