The self-published horror title coming from Team17 called Killer Frequency just got some big news. As initially announced, the game is going to launch in the Summer of 2023 and we have been given an official launch date. Plus, they confirmed the platform list and it expands much further than just on PC as it was previously announced.
Set during the 1980s in a Midwestern US town where a serial killer is on the loose, Killer Frequency follows Forrest Nash, a washed-up DJ and presenter of the ‘The Scream’ late-night show, as he tries to help listeners and callers stalked by a mysterious masked murderer. As the gruesome night unfolds, interact with callers to the show using a variety of conversation options while listening carefully for clues and information, solve puzzles around the studio that could help prevent their grisly demise, and keep the show going with tunes inspired by the decade.
Killer Frequency is set to launch on June 1st for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and in virtual reality on Meta Quest 2. With so many platform options available, will you be picking this one up?
