The new Call of Duty: Warzone event, The Haunting of Verdansk has been going on for a few days now and it’s a refreshing shake-up for the game. The scavenger hunt is fun, all of the new modes are great, but there seems to be a lingering issue that many players are experiencing. Upon completing the scavenger hunt and collecting all of the 16 treats, you’re supposed to unlock the highly coveted “Pumpkin Punisher” blueprint for assault rifle Juliet. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case and for some strange reason, it won’t unlock.
There was a similar issue earlier this year for folks who pre-ordered the Modern Warfare 2: Remake, where the Ghost pack that was given as a pre-order bonus wasn’t popping up immediately due to a bug. It seems to be the same issue here but the weird thing is that Activision has yet to comment on it or patch it. It took weeks for them to smooth out the Ghost pack bug and I hope this isn’t the case here as it would be a bummer if players don’t get the blueprint in time for Halloween.
I know many people that have encountered this issue, myself included. The one solid way that players can show Activision just how many people this bug is affecting is by going on Twitter and sending them a direct message letting them know about the issue you’re having.
