In March, PlayStation players will be able to enjoy both Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces. The pair of games couldn’t be more different, and there’s plenty to enjoy. One is a fabulous remaster of a classic PlayStation exclusive, and the other is a platforming legend that will coincide nicely with the current success of Sonic on the big screen.
In Shadow of the Colossus, ancient monolithic creatures roam the land. These Colossi tower above everything else, but they must be brought down in order to bring a loved one back to life. It’s a journey across a hauntingly beautiful land and one that will require courage as a sword and a bow are the only weapons the hero can use to topple these giants. Each Colossus is unique, and they will challenge your skill and perseverance.
In Sonic Forces, the titular hero must reclaim the world by loosening the vice grip of the evil Dr. Eggman and the mysterious Infinite. These two villains have taken over, and it will require an army to overcome their control. Fight as Modern Sonic, Classic Sonic, and even create a custom hero to thwart the machinations of Dr. Eggman. It’s all or nothing in this Sonic adventure.
If you haven’t downloaded the three games from February yet, you have until Monday, March 2nd to do so. Bioshock: The Collection, The Sims 4, and PS VR shooter Firewall Zero Hour won’t be around forever.
