While some might struggle with the movement-based Training Simulations in Pragmata, others might find their heads scratched with the combat training simulations. And since you get a non-upgraded, fixed loadout, then you’re in for some possible ragequitting.
Catch Me If You Can might be the first of many combat sims that will feel unfair. Still, if you use your weapons wisely and hack like there is no tomorrow, you might find yourself clearing this with no major issues. Here is how to complete the Catch Me If You Can Training Simulation in Pragmata.
How to complete the Catch Me If You Can Training Simulation in Pragmata
This sim’s failure conditions are standard: don’t die, don’t run out of time. However, the third one requires you not to be caught by any robot. With Walkers and Creepers, this can definitely be a pain, so keep that in mind and be ready to dodge. You’ll need to do so to complete the sim within 100 seconds to earn all the rewards.
Round 1
As soon as the first round starts, pick up the Drone Hive right in front of you. Then, run to the left and pick up the Photon Laser.
A Walker will spawn shortly after. Hack it and use the Pulse Carbine to take it down. If you struggle with this fully-auto weapon, use the Photon Laser, albeit sparingly.
Round 2
As soon as you take care of the Walker, exchange your Photon Laser with the Shockwave Gun. While it is feasible to have used the Drone Hive during the first round, it is best to use it now instead.
A Creeper and a Spider will appear. Hack the Creeper and use the Shockwave Gun to take it down, aiming for the weak spots on its back. You’ll need to get close, as you must only use two shots to kill it.
Once you do, hack the Spider and pick up the Photo Laser to destroy it.
Round 3
Round 3 is a bit simpler, so be sure to use this window to grab more ammo for your Drone Hive, which is located on the left side of the area.
A Walker and another Spider will spawn, so hack them and use the Photo Laser or Pulse Carbine to kill both robots.
Round 4
Grab the Shockwave Gun once again. Round 4, the toughest, has another Creeper and now a Lancer, both set on ending you. Take care of the Creeper first, just like you did with the one before. Then, focus on ending the Lancer by using what ammo is left of the Photon Laser and by spamming your pulse Carbine.
If done so correctly, you’ll be able to meet the 100-second criteria to receive Lunafilament, Upgrade Components, and a Cabin Coin.
