During a segment on yesterday’s Inside Xbox Microsoft’s streaming service Project X-Cloud was demoed live on the show. Project X-Cloud hopes to bring the full console experience to users regardless of device and rumors have even hinted at the service coming to Switch in the past. The demo from yesterday consisted of host Julia Hardy playing Forza Horizon 4 on an Android phone using an Xbox One controller. In motion it looked pretty great, latency seemed to be decent and video quality was top notch. Project X-Cloud is yet another furthering of Microsoft’s goal to get their games into as many peoples hands as possible and streaming is another addition to that plan. Public trials for Project X-cloud are set to begin this year so keep an eye out for more information!
