The classic consoles have had a good run with over 10 million sales between the NES and SNES Classic. but it appears that this is as far as Nintendo wants to take the micro consoles. In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Nintendo of America President, Reggie Fils-Aime had this to say about the classic consoles.
So that’s it, once the current stock runs out no more will be sent to replace it. If you have been holding off on grabbing one of the classic systems for whatever reason now is going to be your last opportunity. Well, that is unless you want to pay a scalpers price in the future…
Did you pick up an NES/SNES classic already or will you be trying before the supply runs out?
