Could Spawn Be Joining The Roster Of Mortal Kombat 11?!

Mortal Kombat is back and better than ever in the next evolution of the iconic franchise. The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own. The new graphics engine showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it.

Announced last week at the Game Awards 2018, Mortal Kombat 11 has taken the internet by storm! With a brutal release trailer fans have begun to speculate which characters we might see in the game. Today we might have gotten an insight into one of the guest characters that could grace Mortal Kombat 11, Spawn! In a reddit AMA Todd McFarlane answered a question about letting spawn be in the upcoming fighting game with a simple “I believe he’s on his way…”

A deal was in the works to include Spawn in Mortal Kombat X. Spawn never appeared in that title so it makes sense the deal could have been adjusted to allow Spawn’s inclusion in Mortal Kombat 11. Spawn first made his fighting game appearance in Soul Calibur II on the Xbox back in 2002. Spawn was also included in the HD port of Soul Calibur II in 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360. After 5 years since his last appearance it would be awesome to see Spawn dueling it out in a new fighting game!
