Being a fan of unique twists on puzzles and the way an adventure can be built around them in games, I find myself looking for odd titles. This time I have found a game with a concept that seems like it should have been obviously made before, but it took the minds of the developers at Playbae Games to come up with it. Working with Alcon Interactive Group to get it published, they are releasing In My Shadow on Steam tomorrow, April 8th.
Play as Bella, a girl in pursuit of reconciliation with her past. Solve your way through four puzzle-filled rooms, with each room offering a different glimpse into her memories and exploring the changing relationships in her family. To get through the puzzles, you will need to manipulate objects in the room to alter their shadows, which provides that there is often more than one solution to a challenge.
This definitely looks like an intriguing puzzle game and I can’t wait to solve my way through a series of shadow-based puzzles. Hopefully, the story turns out to be a fairly wholesome one, but we won’t know until we complete all four rooms. What do you think of this uniquely styled puzzle game?
