Every day brings a new way to play and interact together during a time of social distancing, and Renegade Game Studios has announced Worldwide Play Day during the month of April to encourage gamers to play games and spend time together.
Starting today at 2 PM CST, and continuing on the remaining Wednesdays in April, gamers are invited to play the game of the week. Streaming on Facebook, tweeting on Twitter, and broadcasting your gaming experience is part of the fun.
Renegade Game Studios will be hosting their own part of the event, but this is an opportunity for the tabletop community to engage with each other.
This week the featured game is Raiders of the North Sea, so if you have the physical or digital edition of the game, you can participate and there are even rewards for players. Use the hashtag #WorldwidePlayDay if you’re sharing photos or links to your games.
Renegade is bringing other gamers and content creators to join their event, so it should be fun and a welcome distraction.
Just another way to pass the time during quarantine and lockdown. What games are you playing right now? Let us know in the comments and share any creative diversions you’ve dreamed up in the last couple of weeks.
