Another week, another solid bunch of gaming to be had regardless of platform. This week we are focusing a lot of the now-increasing Switch 2 library, which is currently slapping, along with some PC goodness as well. We’d like to give massive thanks to all the teams behind all these titles. We see you, recognize, and appreciate your endless support.
Let the games begin!
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 (Switch 2)
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 on Switch 2 is a glorious flashback to a time when games were about fun, sick tricks, and Goldfinger blasting in your ears—not 400-hour RPG tutorials. It’s not quite as finely-tuned as the 1 + 2 remakes, but who cares when you’re nosegrinding through nostalgia at 60 fps on the bus? Whether you're docked or flipping ollies in bed, this port shreds harder than your thumbs in a heated manual combo.
Now, let’s just hope those Underground remasters are on the way because this girl needs more Tony Hawk in her life, especially on the go!
Warframe Isleweave Update (PC)
I downloaded Warframe for the first time and now I’m wondering what I’ve been doing with my life. Isleweave is like being handed a buffet after years of microwaved meals—there’s just so much, and it’s all deliciously well-made. It runs like a dream, looks like a space opera, and somehow manages to make me feel cool even when I’m getting obliterated by laser ninjas. If you're not playing Warframe, are you even gaming?
No really, if you aren’t playing or haven’t tried Warframe, you need to today. Like, right now. Just get ready to kiss that husband/wife/dog/life goodbye as you melt into the bliss that is this game. It really is that good and with what I’ve seen so far, this is just the beginning.
Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream (PC)
Eriksholm looks like it walked out of an art school graduation show and whispered, “I have a tragic tale to tell you.” The characters are gorgeous, the story is emotional, and the setting oozes mystery—but the stealth? Let’s just say you'll be crouch-waddling like a toddler in a spy movie. Still, it’s worth every moment for the atmosphere and lovingly crafted world. Just don’t expect to be the next Solid Snake.
Unique games are not only rare these days but emotional bangers like this are even more rare so it deserves even more of your time and attention. We can’t wait to see what these devs bring us next. Get some shades, because your future is bright!
Shadow Labyrinth (Switch 2)
Shadow Labyrinth is basically a Metroidvania fever dream where you’re constantly saying “wait, is that a Namco reference?” and then dying because you were too busy smiling. Somehow, this game went from fan-service side project to full-blown genre gem, complete with buttery controls and graphical art that slaps. It’s a near-perfect Switch 2 match, proving once again that portable chaos is the best chaos.
We first played this at PAX and while not perfect, it turned out to be as unique and as slick as a presentation and execution as we could have ever hoped for in a totally unique modern-yet-retro style.
Neon Abyss 2 Early Access (PC)
Neon Abyss 2 is like a chaotic rave hosted inside a gun-wielding arcade machine—and I love it. It doesn’t try to fix what wasn’t broken; it just adds more neon, more loot, and more bullets flying at your face. Early Access already feels polished enough to eat off of, and if this is just the beginning, I can’t wait to see how bonkers it gets. Roguelike fans, prepare to die smiling.
While some EA titles aren’t ready for the primetime, this definitely is. More Early Access goodness and we are all for it!
Edens Zero (PC)
Ahhh.. I like simple things. EDENS ZERO feels like a cozy throwback to yesterday’s JRPGs— just something from the good old days. A charming, personality-driven adventure that doesn’t aim to revolutionize the genre, but knows how to win you over with likable characters and brisk action.
Its real-time, character‑switching combat delivers fun bursts of energy reminiscent of older space-faring adventure titles. If you like anime, JRPGs, ARPGs and lots of personality and charm with your characters, you’ll definitely like EZ.
