Riftbound Is Almost Here—and I’m All In Day One

The wait is almost over, and I couldn’t be more hyped. Riftbound: The League of Legends TCG officially launches in English on October 31st, and you better believe I’m diving in headfirst the moment it drops. Whether you’re a longtime League of Legends fan or a hardcore TCG player like me, Riftbound looks like it’s shaping up to be the card game to watch, and I’m not just watching, I’m playing day one.

I’ve been following Riftbound since its earliest whispers as Project K, and now that it’s launching globally, I can finally get my hands on it. The devs have been vocal about their mission: making this game accessible for both LoL fans and card game veterans. And that’s not just marketing fluff—they’re putting the cards where their mouth is. The global rollout includes North America, EMEA, LATAM, and Oceania, with more APAC regions coming next year. And if you're like me and already scheming your deck builds, the limited preorders open August 4th on the Riot Games Merch Store.

Product Drop:

Origins: Proving Grounds is the boxed set built for 2-4 players, starring Annie, Garen, Lux, and Master Yi—perfect for teaching friends and testing synergies.

Champion Decks let you hit the table fast with pre-cons for Jinx, Viktor, and Lee Sin—tweak them or just go.

Booster Packs & Booster Boxes bring that sweet sealed-pool excitement and let you start crafting your dream strategy from scratch.
Accessories featuring fan-faves like Ahri, Miss Fortune, Jinx, and Volibear will be hitting shelves too—playmats, sleeves, and more, because style matters.

Arcane Promo Bundle

What really seals the deal for me is the energy Riot’s pouring into this launch: in-store events, promos, an Arcane limited-edition box set, and even a Riftbound x Worlds bundle coming later this year.

I’m already scouting which Champion deck will be my main (Viktor or Jinx... probably Jinx), and planning my trip to my local game store for the Origins Launch Event on October 31. Promo packs? Local meta? Count me in.

So yeah—I’m excited. Riftbound isn’t just a game I’m going to try. It’s a game I’m going to live this fall. You’ll catch me theorycrafting combos, sleeving up my deck, and maybe—just maybe—staking my claim on the competitive battlefield.
