According to Rebs Gaming on YouTube, the Halo: Combat Evolved remake has been in development since 2023 and will only release the campaign exclusively. It is also rumored that the title can also launch for PlayStation as well.
While this is still a rumor, the videos opening also reiterates on statements made by Tom Warren about a potential remake and Phil Spencer hinting at one as well.
The discussion begins at the 2:00 mark and while we would love to have a Halo: Combat Evolved remake, I am sure many fans would thoroughly enjoy the multiplayer more, but of course the Halo campaign is still rememebred as one of the best FPS games of all time.
Lets see if the rumor pans out to be true in the time to come.
