While majority of games are launched on PC and then moved on to console, if not launched at the same time, it looks like Sega has taken the opposite route with their popular fighter title Yakuza Kiwami. Along with the new platform launch, they have announced that this is more than just a simple port over. The game has been remastered and will now be available in 4K with uncapped frame rates!
If you don’t know about this brutal title, you play as Kazuma Kiryu, an up-and-coming yakuza who takes the fall for the murder of a crime boss, only to emerge from prison ten years later to a changed world. If that plot alone isn’t enough to interest you, check out the PC announcement trailer:
Finally bringing the game to Steam, they are even offering some special content along with a discount for those who pre-order the digital version of their game. As shown in the trailer, the official launch date for the PC remastered version of Yakuza Kiwami will be February 19th.
Are you excited to see this critically-acclaimed Sega title finally reaching the PC platform?
