Microsoft previously anounced Senua's Saga: Hellblade II for the PS5 adn it seems that with it the game is also getting a few new features to mark the PlayStation release which is a first since their efforts of releasing their exclusives unto the PlayStation. Indiana Jones and Forza Horizon 5 released with little to no new content but Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 looks like it will have a few surprises.
To kick things off, the game now has a 60 FPS mode which one of the biggest criticisms of the game back on launch for the Xbox Series consoles. In addition there is a new photomode, a new mode called Dark Rot challenge similar to the concept in the original game, and Ninja Theory also announced a free PS5 version of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade that released back in 2017 for those who owned the original PS4 version.
The game is set for a release on August 12th, 2025 for the Xbox Series, PS5, and PC.
