Steam has recently slashed the price of Lara Croft’s latest adventure, Shadow of the Tomb Raider by 34% for the standard edition, and 47% off for the Croft Edition. While some players are happy to purchase the game at such low prices, those who have paid full price are not so happy about it.
A handful of fans who immediately purchased Shadow of the Tomb Raider shortly after its release are pissed after Steam discounted the game six weeks after launch. A few players raised their complaints on the review section of the game’s Steam page, while others took their grievances to Reddit.
Some fans took it way too far and even wished death on Square Enix’s employees, while others felt betrayed after supporting the game at launch. As of now, the game has received 196 negative reviews immediately after the sale started.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
