Bringing out a more cute styled atmosphere to the afterlife while challenging players with an align-to-shoot puzzle-platforming mechanic is the development team at Stone Lantern Games. Teaming up with popular indie publisher PQube, they are releasing Evergate later this year on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
As players explore this expansive 2D puzzle-platformer, they will guide the child-like soul named Ki through a mythical story of dreams, memories, and reincarnation. To do this they will face multiple open-ended puzzles to complete any way they see possible, collect empowering artifacts to upgrade Ki and the Soulflame, and explore a hand-drawn world filled with immense power trapped in crystalline form.
