According to Portuguese leaker eXtas1stv, they have said that Spyro 4 and Double Fine’s next game could make a reveal at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase later this month, on June 8th.
Along with a plethora of other first-party titles that are set to be further revealed or have updates shared on them, Spyro 4 and Double Fine’s next game could be what fans have been waiting for. Crash Bandicoot had his moment in the spotlight with Crash Bandicoot 4 back in 2020 and now its time for the purple dragon to make a comeback too.
In addition, we can also expect to see Double Fine’s next game. The last game we saw from the studio was Psychonauts 2 back in 2021, so a new title from the studio would definitley be welcomed.
While there are conflicting reports on whether or not the games will also release on PS5 on launch or after is debated, but we are taking the news with a grain of salt.
For now all we can do is take the word of the leaker who has a fairly consistent track record.
