Diving straight into the surreal world of Kafka, developers Ovid Works and publishers All In! Games have simultaneously released a short gameplay trailer for Metamorphosis and a free demo on Steam. This combined launch is a great move so players can see what the game has to offer before giving themselves the first-hand experience with the demo. Plus, it is sure to build hype for a game set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch sometime this summer!
Get ready for a unique experience because this game offers a handful of aspects that aren’t seen in other games. Not only do you play from a bug’s perspective, giving a completely different outlook on the way you see the world around you, but you also get the movement mechanics of a bug. You can make full use of your tiny body and sticky limbs. Something that will come in handy as you maneuver through challenging environment puzzles that require players to utilize parkour, wall climb, search for clues, and skills to overcome obstacles.
Check out the short gameplay video below. My only gripe with it is that there is a mix of non-gameplay moments in the video and it is already under 2 minutes long. But at least we can head over to the free demo to get a proper experience anytime.
